Róisín de Buitléar is visual artist who draws her inspiration from her cultural heritage. Her practice spans architecture, sculpture, design and site-specific installations. Her work can be seen in public buildings throughout Ireland. Her recent work focuses on light, sound and glass: objects for performance and exhibition.

Her artwork is represented in national collections in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Britain, Japan, China USA.

'CAUTION! Fragile: Tradition in Transition' a seminal exhibition focused on traditions of cutting and engraving glass in Ireland, was exhibited at the National Museum of Ireland for 2018.
